What will happen after I sign up?

After signing up, you will be added to our early access list.We are preparing to launch the platform by the end of April 2026, or once we have enough users in the area to ensure meaningful matches, In Shaa Allah.You will be notified as soon as the platform is live.

What if I am not located in Calgary?

We are currently focusing on Calgary and nearby areas (including Edmonton) to build strong local connections.However, you are still welcome to sign up. Expansion to other regions will follow as the platform grows, In Shaa Allah.

How will the app work?

- Profiles are reviewed and shared respectfully

- Contact is only shared after proper approval

What happens after a match is made?

Once there is mutual interest and any required approvals are completed, contact information is shared so families can proceed in a respectful and halal manner.Nikkah Navigator does not facilitate ongoing communication within the app, as the goal is to transition toward real-life discussions with proper involvement.

Will there be chatting or messaging?

No.Nikkah Navigator is not a messaging or dating app.There is no free mixing, chatting, or casual conversations.All connections are made with the intention of marriage and through a structured process.

Why is there no chatting?

Because casual conversation often leads away from the purpose of marriage.Nikkah Navigator removes unnecessary interaction and focuses on intentional, structured connections with accountability, helping keep the process halal and serious.

Is wali (guardian) involvement included?

Yes.Wali involvement is an important part of maintaining a halal process, and the platform is designed to encourage and support guardian involvement where applicable.

Are profile photos required?

For men, profile photos are required to ensure transparency and seriousness.For women, photos are not required in order to maintain privacy and modesty.Photos can instead be shared in a controlled and respectful manner after a serious match, for example through one-time viewing on WhatsApp or with wali involvement.

How is privacy maintained?

- No casual exposure

- Contact details only shared after mutual approval

Is there a reference or verification system?

Yes.There is a reference section where brothers can provide information such as:- Masjid attendance

This allows families and walis to verify character through local masajid and trusted community members, helping build trust beyond just a profile.
